Turning Wheels for Kids was such a wonderful organization to partner with for our corporate philanthropic teaming building event, we couldn’t have asked for a better organization. In quoting our SVP and GM of CSS, Kevin Conley, “the entire day far exceeded my expectation!” From the beginning, Robyn, provided SanDisk with a well-organized and thoughtful full day agenda which incorporated our corporate values and promoted healthy competition amongst the group. This allowed for our teams to work well with each other communicating how they would get to the end of their challenge, but most importantly having fun while we worked towards our grand goal of building 70+ bikes for well deserving children. There were also a few exciting “breaks” sprinkled throughout the day such as the competitive bike parade and executive bike race which will still be talked about for many years to come. We couldn’t have asked for a better day. PERFECT marks for Turning Wheels for Kids on schedule, organization, staff, and execution! The best and most rewarding part of the bike build was when the kids came to pick up their bikes and the looks on their excited faces was much more than we ever envisioned how this all would turn out.
Thank you TWFK. You rocked and we hope to work with you in the future on another bike build!

Do you remember your first bike? Was there a moment when that bike did something special or became special? IF you have a story, brief or longer, please submit it. We are considering making a book of first bike stories! We can’t include yours if we don’t know it! When was that moment that you knew a bike was essential or saved your life J! Funny how the stories take on meaning over time!
